Very Clean Coleman Northstar 2000 Lantern dated 7/99 - Dual Fuel - Electronic Ig

Offered for sale is a very clean Coleman Model 2000 Northstar single mantle lantern.  When this was produced, Coleman called this their brightest lantern available.  The bottom of the fount is date stamped 07/99 for July, 1999.
The lantern is in excellent condition and has been cleaned and tested.  The fount (tank) is very clean inside and has the pinkish factory coating -- no rust!  When pressurized, the lantern holds pressure for days, and passes air when the valve is opened. It lit easily with the electronic ignitor and burned bright (see photos.)
The burner and frame were lightly cleaned, but this lantern has had very little use.  The original paint and instruction decal are in very good condition.  The vent has no chips and the globe is the correct original Northstar Made in USA globe.  There are no chips, cracks, or burn marks in the glass.
Also included is the original box (shows wear), owner's manual, and several new #95 mantles that are the correct size for this lantern.
Coleman quit making the liquid fueled version of this lantern several years ago.  It is a great piece to add to your collection.  Please read the auction notes below and thanks for looking!
